The Fall Season

Hi kids. Uncle Randy checking in once again. Happy Fall to all. Fall always reminds me of fresh starts and new beginnings. This rapid weather change, however, makes me believe that we are going to pay for that reasonably mild summer we experienced in Memphis. Which reminds me, I hope everyone gets their flu shot this year, that is, if you don't believe that the vaccine is a secret government conspiracy to make you sick enough to wish you had health insurance. In that case, you're in luck. Obamacare is due to kick-in on October 1st, and as I predicted in these pages, we are already seeing the formerly infallible insurance companies running competing advertisements for affordable policies. That's different already. For someone like me, who went without health insurance for a decade because of the dreaded "pre-existing condition," the Affordable Care Act is a long awaited remedy. For a person who receives all their information from Fox News and right-wing websites, it's the worst thing to hit America since the Influenza Pandemic of 1918.

With only days before the law takes effect, the Republicans are scrambling around like cockroaches, attempting anything and everything to derail or delay Obamacare. The Tea Party led House Republicans passed a bill to alot money to run the government, without funding Obamacare, technically a violation of the law. If the Tea Party began telling the American people to stop paying their income taxes, or to ignore the speed limit, wouldn't they be aiding and abetting the commission of a crime? The Koch brothers have been running television ads that show a creepy looking Uncle Sam with a wicked smile preparing to perform a gynecological exam on an unsuspecting young woman. The grotesquery is supposed to convince younger people to opt-out of Obamacare. This is where you younger folks come in. I understand that the Affordable Care Act is unpopular and that the right-wing hysteria has had its effect, but all the bill does is deliver thirty million new customers to the health insurance industry. The problem isn't Obamacare, it's the health insurance scam that the medical/pharmaceutical complex forced upon us in the first place. Now that we're all in this together, the first step out of this trap is to at least make health insurance affordable and available to everyone.

The health care act allows a young person to remain on their parents' insurance until age twenty-six. I know you're feeling great now, but when you start getting close to thirty, things begin to happen. You may be fit enough to play on a Park Commission basketball team, until you're diving for a loose ball and get your teeth knocked out, which actually happened to a friend of mine. Another friend was a teammate in a softball league until he tore out his knee sliding into home. You'll be happy you have health care on these occasions, not to mention actual illnesses that require a doctor's care. So, young people's participation is necessary to make the law effective, despite the Koch brothers' efforts to convince them otherwise. Obamacare is the settled law of the land, yet the House bill to defund the  act allows the "loyal opposition" to kick their forty-second attempt at killing the law over to the Senate, where it stands no chance of passing, but every chance of becoming the partisan, political spectacle of the fall season. All eyes will be on the man Sarah Palin refers to as "Tea Party Ted,"- Texas Senator Tom, I mean Ted Cruz. The first term senator, whose naked presidential ambitions are embarrassing, has vowed to do "everything necessary and anything possible to defund Obamacare," including a promise to filibuster any spending bill that does not defund the health care law. Majority Leader Harry Reid, doing his Don Corleone impression, responded, "Any bill that defunds Obamacare is dead. Dead."

Ted Cruz is living proof that a degree from Harvard ain't what it used to be. He may possess a rich intellect, but he displays poor judgement. That leftist rag Wall Street Journal called Cruz's idea of using the continuing resolution to defund Obamacare as "crazy." Sen. John McCain said it was a "bad idea." Before "Tea Party Ted" was to appear on Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace said he was "stunned" to receive opposition research on the Senator, "from other Republicans." Cruz, the neo-Joe McCarthy, has labelled Social Security a "ponzi scheme," and said that "Sharia law is an enormous problem in this country." Oh yeah, he voted against the Violence Against Women Act too. Even his fellow conservatives despise him. Outspoken Rep. Peter King of New York said, "He should stay in the Senate, keep quiet. If he can deliver on this, fine. If he can't, he should keep quiet from now on and we shouldn't listen to him." Harry Reid will merely strip any language about defunding Obamacare from the spending bill and send it back to the House. Then it's up to "Crying John" Boehner to either find the votes to pass the Senate bill and prevent a government shutdown, or stand with the Tea Party and go down with the ship. If you recall, the last government shutdown was a disaster which led to the fellating of President Clinton. The deadline is September 30, and if you think this is exciting, just wait until next month's self-inflicted crisis over the damned debt ceiling, when the Tea Party lunatics attempt to delay the implementation of Obamacare for another year. I'm not a lawyer, but I watch a lot of television. Isn't this legal grounds for obstruction of justice?

No one wants to deny health coverage to needy people. The bone of contention is, do we allow the federal government to administer health care or do we use more private sector solutions. Whatever the government does tends to become ever more expensive and ever less efficient. That is no secret. Look at government education, social security, and Medicare. Social security and Medicare are wonderful, but not if they bankrupt the country...bankrupt it even more, I should say. Obamacare will exacerbate the bankruptcy problem. Another issue is the baggage that goes along with Obamacare. This alludes to what Pelosi meant when she said that 'we have to pass it in order to know what is in it'. That is the part that is worrisome. It was a mind-blowing revelation to me to learn that our congressmen never or seldom actually read these bills to see what is in them. What if the government laid claim to your first born child in the small print of one of these bills? Anyway, some take exception to a government that expands ad infinitum. Look for them to nationalize energy next. Nobody but progressive liberals want to live under totalitarianism. But, you guys can relax, because we are well on our way to totalitarianism and nothing is going to stop it. This is simply due to a principal that says if individuals can't effectively govern themselves, someone else will. At the very least, don't you think that the wise course would be to wait and see what happens in regard to Obamacare? You don't want to prematurely praise something that may turn into a nightmare. It makes you look foolish and less trustworthy when your prognostications turn out badly. I am against Obamacare, but I realize that I may be wrong. So, I will wait to see how it all pans out. Then I will either humbly apologize for speaking in ignorance, or I will do the 'church lady dance' chiding you for your gullibility.

Just think...when Hillary Clinton is elected in 2016 she will be America's first female, Marxist, bisexual, necromancing President. Now that is progress. She recently gave Huma, the perv Anthony Wiener's wife, an ultimatum. She must choose between Hillary and Weiner. Why does she want to hog all of Huma's nooky? Can't she share? What kind of liberal is she who won't share the goods?

A sensible, well-written column on healthcare is a honeypot for ideologues and outright cranks. This is a good start. What planet do these people live on.

I would bet the only time you have listened to Sen. Cruz is in short edited clips. The reason he is disliked by Democrats and some Republicans is he threatens the present power systems. Here is a Quote from Alan Dershowitz. (Cruz “was an outstanding student in my class,” Dershowitz said. “Without a doubt he is among the smartest students I’ve ever had… I’ve had great students but he has to be at the top of anyone’s short list, in terms of raw brain power.”

How do the powers of each party attack him. Not on the arguments but they try to belittle and demonize him. That is the tactic of people who can’t win on merit so they attack the messenger.

Just did a little research. Sen. Cruz was asked if SS was a Ponzi Scheme. ( He replied that by the strict definition it was.) Ponzi is taking money from future investors and paying it to older investors. Let me know if that is not how SS is working these days.

Alan, you are too sane and truthful for this blog. Don't you know that truth has the same effect on liberals as sunlight has on vampires? I love your posts, because they are such an anti-dote to the foolishness and half-truths that are expressed here. But you will get no where with liberals by telling them truth. They will just blindly and ferociously attack you. Remember the cries, 'Crucify Him'? This element crucifies all truth bearers. In fact, this has happened to all truth-bearers in this world throughout history. It is part of the Great Conflict. It helps me to remember that Satan is the spiritual father of all liars. That being the case, you appear to be blessedly not among them.

I heard today that if and when Obamacare turns out badly, there are Democrats who are busily coming up with spin to blame the Republicans for the failure. Now that has to be the nadir of political chicanery. Not a single Republican had any input into the bill, it was rammed down America's throat by totalitarians-in-training, a.k.a., Democrats. Yet, they are going to try to lie again to the American people in an effort to wriggle out of culpability...the ultimate case of pissing on someone's leg and insisting that it is only rain. The problem is that Americans are so low-information and so dependent on government handouts that they will believe anything to keep those out of office who will take away their freebies and make them work for a living. We are rapidly becoming a Third World country mentally if not in fact. America is history. Only the shell remains. Just wait to see what takes its place.

Politics has to be the most low-down, dishonest, sack of satanic shit ever devised. No wonder so few honorable men will enter the fray. Politics is a magnet that primarily attracts those who live in moral sewage. The Bible says that Satan is the father of all liars. Too bad for the politicians and lawyers. The political class eventually destroys every country where they take up shop simply because of their lack of character. The same is true of any organization. If those who run the show are bogus, so will all their undertakings be. So much time, money, and effort are wasted on wrangling with those criminals.

I am an Independent so I don't want any lip from anyone. Other than being one of the sheep....I am not a political animal. I don't know a thing about Obamacare. My question is....do those of us on Medicare have to be bothered with all of this...or do we just continue as we are? I hate insurance companies. They are in the business of ripping people off...or that was my experience. I paid an arm and a leg before Medicare....just to preserve my estate in the event that I had a major medical issue....which I did have once. The coverage wasn't really much to be excited about even then. I was turned down time and again....for a number of policies and I felt that I was unfairly turned down. I don't think about politics. I think about animals who need help...that's what I do...and paintings to give to animal causes for their auctions. I'm basically prett boring. In short.... I'm sick of all the arguing in Washington and I welcome anything that sticks it to the insurance companies. I'm not nearly smart enough to keep up with Uncle Randy....I'm only sharing my experience.

Republicans have only themselves to blame for Obamacare. Back when they had the power, they could have devised and passed something more to their liking, but they chose to procrastinate further until the Dems did something about the issue. Now they are running around like men with their hair on fire. The Republicans are such ineffectual, unwise, and cowardly fools. Half of them are de facto Democrats. This is why I can't understand why Sput spends so much time hammering them...as if they were relevant. Leave them alone and they will implode from the weight of their own cowardice and unwisdom. But, I guess he doesn't have anything else to bitch about. Sput, the battle is over. You are like the Japs on the Pacific islands who had not heard that the war was over and stood vigilant and ready for conflict long after the world moved past WWII. It is much the same on this blog. THE WAR IS OVER. Now your heroes can dismantle America at their leisure and institute any form of tyranny that they wish. Write about sports or something that is still germane. Or, maybe do a weekly tally sheet of all of the things that are happening to make America a full-blown Marxist state...the liberal Nirvana, eeehaw! Bitching about Republicans is a waste of time. They will soon be an anachronism. The lying Marxist pervert Hillary and her satyr husband will see to that. She will be a more clever criminal than Obama. He is too eager to destroy America and about half the country can see that. He isn't subtle. Most Americans (so called) will give Hillary what she needs to blow their brains out. America is dead, dead, dead. Soon the necrotic odor will permeate everything...'Oooh that smell, can't you smell that smell, the smell of death surrounds you!' It has already begun. See you in the gulags. Maybe you will listen then, but I'm not counting on it.

Why is it that wealthy Republicans are regarded with contempt, but wealthy Democrats, like Sewer Dweller Gore, get a pass. Isn't this the very definition of hypocrisy? But, I tend to forget that progressives are not rational and live by the dictum 'by any means necessary' and 'the end justifies the means'. These mantras constitute the equivalent to the Lord's Prayer for Leftists. Lie, cheat, steal, murder...nothing is out-of-bounds for these blood-suckers as they work feverishly to bring hell to the Earth. I wish that the stupid Republicans would expedite the funding for Obamacare. The sooner the American people realize what the subversive Democrats have done to them the better. Prediction: Obamacare will be an unmitigated disaster. Hillary will only be elected if the American electorate is as ignorant as brass pigs or as masochistic as submissives in a BDSM chamber. I think that they are a little of both and that is why I would never say that a satanic witch like Hillary could never be elected. Obama was elected twice. This lends credence to the fact that Americans have become mindless, dependent sheep...'Obama come wipe me!' The new national anthem should be 'Beat Us, Whip Us, Make Us Write Bad Checks'. The anthem of those who stand against these numbskulls should be patterned after Nazareth's 'Hair of the Dog'. Most liberals tremble when it comes to the thought of physical conflict. A war against them would probably take about as long as it takes for them to run and hide.

VITW, your last post sadly included nary a shred of critical thinking, thus it is unlikely to stimulate any. Maybe you have done this on purpose. It is, however filled with the abusive vitriol so commonly heaped upon Randy and those who allow themselves to be considered "liberals," Democrats," or "Marxists." Though very skillfully put together it can expression and illicit vague emotions devoid of substance or significance. Please, clam down and try to explain some of your thinking, if you can recall any of it, as it can get covered under the habitual, emotional baggage.
A few quotes on politics in general:
Politics and the fate of mankind are shaped by men without ideals and without greatness. -Albert camus 1962
Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them. -Paul Valery, 1943
Politics - n. A strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles. --Ambrose Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary
Opposition - n. In politics the party that prevents the Government from running amuck by hamstringing it -- Ambrose Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary

performs, sometimes a rant is just more fun. I use critical thinking when and if it is necessary. The more that I learn about politics and government, the better sense anarchists make to me. If I had to pigeon hole myself I am a conservative libertarian. Politics is a shell game to acquire personal wealth, power, and position. Few politicians give a rat's ass about 'we the people'. They juke and jive and throw money to buy votes and then proceed to serve themselves. The same is true of the 'compassionate' liberal politicians. There are no more than a dozen statesmen in all of Congress. I do like your quotes. My posts are a mixture of humor, hyperbole, and bombast. Don't let that bother you. I don't dislike Sput, I just like to needle him occasionally. Keep your focus on the Oligarchy. Many Democrats, Rinos, liberals and even some conservatives are all in their pockets. The fools actually want all power to be centralized in a world government. It makes me think that they would hire Hannibal Lector to baby sit for them. Let's do a thought experiment. What if the Nazis take over the control of the N.W.O. They will kill every Jew, Christian, and all of what they call the 'mud races'. You will obey their every command or die. I think that I would rather live according to the American Constitution.

Many are aware that V.I. Lenin referred to the American liberals who were aiding and abetting the Communist cause as 'useful idiots'. He liked their help, but despised them as people. In fact, he said that they would be among the first to go in a cleansing, because he wouldn't trust anyone who would betray their own country. Eventually, they might turn on him. A traitor by any other name is still a traitor. Lenin wasn't all bad. We could learn a thing or two from him if our collective heads were not up the ass of the collective.

Egalitarianism Is A Hustle said...

The next time someone proudly states to you that they are a egalitarian, consider this. You cannot have an egalitarian society without an extremely oppressive and tyrannical government. In order to keep things 'equal' the intelligent and industrious must be handicapped. This is done now by our tax system, but more draconian measures will be taken if necessary. The less intelligent and industrious must receive unending subsidies in the form of hand-outs, provided by those who earn the money. One progressive egalitarian went so far as to say that if everyone can't have some material advantage, then no one should be allowed to have it. Think about that for a while. The government has to be constantly vigilant to assure this forced equality, because human nature being what it is, black markets will open and then the old problem of some having more than others arises again. Egalitarianism is anti-nature, and anti-God who made everyone different in terms of intelligence and talents. Another consideration is that you can't have am egalitarian society with individual freedom and private property. So those inalienable rights are ditched. A free person might use his freedom to rise above others. With no private property there is no way to acquire wealth. So, if it were possible to construct an egalitarian society, the vast majority of people would live in poverty while their elite rulers would be exempt from all of the egalitarian bullshit. They would live in opulent luxury as they kick the asses of the serfs. Sort of like the way Congress treats us. You do realize that they want no part of Obamacare because they know how flawed it is, but it is good enough for the serfs. Their attitude is, 'Fuck the serfs, but keep them voting for us'.

You guys will love this. Rush Limbaugh told his listeners today that the Republicans are as corrupt as the Democrats and urged everyone to quit giving money to the Republican Party. It seems that an email from John Boehner to Harry Reid has been exposed in which Boehner colluded with Reid for the provision to cut Congress out of Obamacare, because they all know that it sucks. The whole time he has been telling his constituency that he is against exempting Congress and believes that Congress should be required to have Obamacare like everyone else. What a fucking backstabbing, unprincipled piece of shit...pardon my candor. It looks like the Republicans are just about D.O.A. and that Hillary will waltz into the presidency in 2016. This being the case, we should skip the farce of an election to save money and get on with the dismantling of America, or what is left of it. I have officially given up all hope for the future of this country. We WILL be a Marxist, Third World nation until we are absorbed into the coming Marxist, totalitarian N.W.O. If I were young enough, I would move to Costa Rica. I hope you guys like what is coming down the pike. It will be your heads on pikes.
